At Arlow and Birch, we are passionate about crafting jewelry that lasts. Whether you're investing in our permanent jewelry or our ready-to-wear collection, we stand behind our pieces. Below is everything you need to know about our warranty for both categories of jewelry.
Permanent Jewelry Warranty
Our Promise to You
We want you to wear your permanent jewelry confidently, knowing it's made to last. Our permanent jewelry is designed to be worn 24/7, but it does require a bit of care to stay in top condition. Here's what's covered:
What’s Covered?
- Free adjustments for the life of your jewelry as long as the chain is still in good condition
- Free rewelds for your permanent jewelry and any permanent jewelry purchased from another company
- Chain replacement within 14 days of purchase if the chain is lost, with proof of purchase
What’s Not Covered?
- Damage from misuse (i.e., pulling, stretching, or excessive force) We will do what we can to repair any chain that has been stretched or caught on something but if it is beyond repair and we have to replace the chain, we will replace it at a discount of 20%.
- Lost jewelry after the 14-day replacement period
Caring for Your Permanent Jewelry
Your permanent jewelry is designed to stay with you, so it’s important to care for it while it's on. To keep it looking its best, we recommend cleaning it periodically which can be done with a mild soap, getting it nice and sudsy and rubbing your chain or using a soft bristle toothbrush to get in all the nooks and crannies. If you notice your chain starting to stretch or loosen, it’s a good idea to schedule a resizing appointment to prevent it from catching on something and potentially ripping. Regular care will ensure your jewelry remains as beautiful and secure as the day you received it.

Our Promise to You
Our ready-to-wear jewelry is crafted for durability and beauty, made to be worn with ease. We’re proud to offer a warranty that ensures your pieces stay in great condition. Here's what's covered:
What’s Covered?
- Broken or defective clasps
- Broken posts or earring backs
- If we no longer carry the exact item, we will replace it with a similar piece based on the description
What’s Not Covered?
- Damage from misuse (i.e., bending, pulling, or general mishandling)
- Lost or misplaced jewelry
- Alterations made by third parties (other than our team)
- Normal wear and tear beyond what’s covered by the warranty
Caring for Your Ready-to-Wear Jewelry
Our ready-to-wear jewelry is designed to look stunning and stand the test of time. To keep it looking its best, we recommend storing your jewelry in a dry, cool place, away from harsh chemicals and extreme conditions. Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes, and water, as these can affect the appearance of your pieces.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you experience any issues with your jewelry that fall under our warranty, simply reach out to us via email or phone. We’ll guide you through the process and may ask for photos or a return of the item to assess the issue. For eligible claims, we’ll repair or replace the item at no cost to you.
